Petit Planet Starsea

What the Starsea adds to a home planet

Players travel through the Starsea to gather materials, discover creatures and meet new friends.

See the three outcomes
MaterialsGathered beyond the home planet
CreaturesDiscovered on the outward trip
FriendsNew encounters, separate from home Neighbors

Google Play and the HoYoLAB launch note describe the Starsea as travel away from the personal planet. The confirmed outcomes are the reason to leave home. Those pages do not publish a star map, a fuel cost or an encounter list.

Gather materials

The outward trip is a source of materials that the home-planet description does not claim to supply by itself.

Discover creatures

Creature discovery is named as its own result of travel, distinct from bug catching on the home planet.

Meet new friends

New friends are part of the Starsea description. Home Neighbors remain the residents you support with gifts, meals and walks.

Bring it back home

The Starsea is an extension of the planet loop. Shaping the landscape, living with Neighbors and cooking or fishing still sit on the home world. Use the trip when you want materials, creatures or someone new, then return to the place you are tending.

Choose a reason to leave home

Materials change the question

The Starsea earns its place in the loop because the official product pages give travel a different job from home-planet activities. The outward trip is where players gather materials, discover creatures and meet new friends. That does not mean the home planet becomes a menu screen. Landscape, coastline, skies, Neighbors and the named daily activities still belong to the place you are shaping.

When deciding whether to travel, start with the outcome you want. If the question is about a resource beyond the home routine, materials are the clearest reason. If the question is about discovery, creatures are the named result. If the question is social, new friends distinguish Starsea encounters from the Neighbors who already live on your planet.

What the public pages leave open

The available launch-facing descriptions do not publish a star map, a fuel cost, an encounter table or a required order for islets. Those omissions set the useful boundary for this page. It can explain why a player would travel and what the product description names as the trip's outcomes, but it cannot turn the route into a numbered navigation guide with invented coordinates or rates.

A good first outward session is therefore observational. Pick one of the three confirmed outcomes, note what the trip adds to your home routine, and return to Planet Growth, Neighbors or cooking and fishing when the planet itself is the better next task. The linked pages keep those systems connected without collapsing them into one unverified progression chart.

Bring the result back to a decision

Materials point back toward the home planet because a personal world is the place where building and decorating happen. Creatures point toward discovery, a different question from the home activity of catching bugs. New friends point toward the social layer beyond the Neighbors already living on your planet. Thinking in those three outcomes helps a player choose a destination without needing a map that has not been published.

The Starsea page is therefore most useful beside the home pages. Read Planet Growth when the task is to shape land, coast or sky. Read Neighbors when the task is gifts, meals or walks. Return to this page when the task is an outward trip for materials, creatures or new encounters.
